About the Programme

This programme aims to produce a semi-professional workforce in solving ICT problems whether in the public, private or self-employed sectors. The programme also prepares students to continue their studies to a bachelor's degree at a local or foreign university.

Programme Educational Objectives

The programme educational objectives for this diploma is to produce semi-professionals who are able to:

1 Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and cognitive skills in the field of Information Technology.
2 Demonstrate functional work skills related to Animation Technology.
3 Demonstrate personal and entrepreneurial skills in the field of Animation Technology.
4 Demonstrate ethics and professionalism in Animation Technology.

Programme Learning Outcomes

Upon graduation, a graduate should acquire the following:

1 Demonstrate systematic comprehension of a broad range of technical and theoretical knowledge and skills within Animation Technology.
2 Identify, interpret, design, apply and evaluate general concepts, theory and/or operational principles within a well-defined context of Animation Technology.
3 Apply a limited range of practical skills, essential tools, methods and procedures in Animation Technology.
4 Collaborate effectively as member of a diverse Animation Technology team.
5 Communicate effectively in both verbal and written among computing community and society.
6 Use a broad range of information, media and technology applications.
7 Demonstrate skills to use and interpret numerical and graphical data.
8 Demonstrate effective leadership, autonomy and responsibility as an individual and in diverse teams.
9 Recognize self-directed lifelong learning and professional pathways to enrich Animation Technology knowledge and competencies.
10 Demonstrate an awareness of management and technopreneurship practices in Animation Technology.
11 Demonstrate compliance with organizational and professional ethics, and apply sustainable practices in the context of Animation Technology work and social environment.
